Genus Psammodrilus

Description:
Psammodrilidae with four cylindrical regions: (1) head, comprising prostomium and anterior part of buccal region (peristomium); (2) pharyngeal part of buccal region in the form of a distinct, non-ciliated collar; (3) thorax, with dorsally situated segmental cirri; and (4) abdomen, with ventrally located uncini. Segmental ciliary rings present.
