Genus Sigalion

Description:
Body with numerous pairs of scales. Prostomium with a median antenna, a pair of lateral antennae, a pair of palps and two pairs of eyes. Peristomium with chaetae and two pairs of tentacular cirri. Parapodia with stylodes, ctenidia, branchial cirri from the 3rd chaetiger and a pair of small dorsal cirri on the 3rd chaetiger. Notopodial chaetae capillaries. Neuropodial chaetae compound and simple.
