Description:
Prostomium a flattened ridge. Grooved peristomial palps present but drop off easily.
First segment similar to next segment with parapodia projecting anteriorly.
Parapodia biramous; notopodia and neuropodia low, transverse ridges or mounds backed by postchaetal lobes of various shapes.
Chaetae are capillaries, distally curved and straight spines and fringed chaetae.
