Genus Aphrodita

Linnaeus, 1758

Description:
Body with 15 pairs of scales. Prostomium with a median antenna. 2 pairs of small sessile eyes, and a papillate facial tubercle. All chaetae simple, notopodial chaetae include capillaries that form felt, neuropodial chaetae include stout spines and laterally spinose chaetae.
