Genus Laetmonice

Kinberg, 1855

Description:
Body with 20 pairs of scales. Prostomium with median antenna, a pair of non-pigmented eye-stalks and a papillate facial tubercle. All chaetae simple, notopodial chaetae include capillaries which with detritus may form a layer of pseudo-felt; and harpoon chaetae. Neuropodial chaetae include curved unidentates with a prominent lower tooth and a row of filamentous hairs.
