Description:
Body with about 40 segments. Prostomium with a median antenna, a pair of lateral antennae and 2 pairs of eyes. Caruncle sometimes present. Notopodia have 2 kinds of broadened chaetae, symmetrical and asymmetrical. Neuropodia have compound chaetae with smooth shafts, fringed blades and unidentate tips.
