Genus Protodriloides

Description:
Elongate multisegmented body. Prostomium extending anteriorly as two solid, mobile, flexible tentacles without internal canals and not delimited from prostomium proper at base. Neither eyes nor so-called statocysts present. Nuchal organs inconspicuous. No parapodia. Segmentally arranged simple chaetae or adhesive glands. Pygidium bilobed, with adhesive glands. Pharyngeal organ without tongue-like structure; salivary glands not distinctly separated from oesophagus.
