Description:
Body anteriorly swollen and posteriorly long and slender, with triannulate segments. Epidermis reticulate.
Prostomium small and bilobed.
Noto- and neuropodia simple mounds, in anterior three chaetigers with spines, the others each with a bundle of capillary and forked chaetae.
Gills and cirri absent.
Pygidium with short cirri.
Size:
Up to 15 mm.
Colour:
Reddish.
Habitat:
Unknown.
Distribution:
Atlantic between Ireland and Brasil, Mediterranean, English Channel, southern North Sea.
