Genus Acanthicolepis

Norman in McIntosh, 1900

Description:
Body with 18 pairs of scales. They occur on segments 2, 4, 5 and 7 then alternately to the 23rd, and then on segments 26, 29, 32, 34, 37 and 40. Prostomium with median antenna and a pair of ventrally inserted lateral antennae. Notopodial chaetae stout with blunt tips, neuropodial chaetae with bidentate and unidentate tips.
