Description:
Gills in paired groups, usually on three segments (exceptionally on two) starting on segment 2. Gills comprised of dense groups of free filaments, without stems. No lateral lobes on the anterior segments. Ventral shields usually distinct. Notopodial chaetae from segment 2, uncinigerous tori from segment 5. A high number of segments with smooth notopodial chaetae.
