Genus Trichobranchus

Malmgren, 1866

Description:
Two or three pairs of simple gills. Eyespots present or absent. Buccal segment ventrally cushion-like, rounded, not protrusive. Lateral lobes on the anterior segments. Thorax usually with 15-17 segments with smooth notopodial chaetae. Thoracic uncini with long shafts. Abdominal uncini with short shafts.
