Description:
Prostomium with or without eyes. Parapodium with several slender embedded aciculae and one stout projecting acicula. With or without small mandibles. Four to five pairs of maxillae. Maxillae I toothed at base only or smooth. Free-living or endoparasitic in onuphids, eunicids, cirratulids and terebellids.
