Aphelochaeta vivipara

Description:
Prostomium fused to the anterior segments, without eyes. Anterior three achaetous segments dorsally completely fused. One pair of palps on the last achaetous segment.
1 pairs of long filamentous gills, starting at the first chaetiger, just behind the palps. Chaetae capillary, smooth, dorsal chaetae not longer than ventral chaetae. Number of chaetae in anterior body half 6-8, in the posterior body half 3-6 per branch.

Size:
Up to 15 mm for 44 segments.
