Description:
Prostomium fused to peristomium and first chaetiger.
Anterior four pairs of notopodia with three capillary chaetae each, the following notopodia with coarsely serrated hooks.
First neuropodia with three capillary chaetae, neuropodia of chaetiger 2 and 3 with two thin and serrated capillary chaetae (A. heterochaeta-chaetae), the posterior neuropodia similar to notopodia.
Pygidium fused to last chaetiger, rounded.

Size:
Up to 1.5 mm for 14 segments.

Colour:
Transparent.

Habitat:
Between algae.

Distribution:
Only known from an aquarium in Düsseldorf.
