Description:
Prostomium with two club-shaped palps arising laterally (50-53 µm long), completely ciliated, with two laterofrontal ciliary tufts in front of striking glandular complexes. No eyes. Seven chaetigers of equal size and shape, parapodia of which each have a small elongate cirrus (12 µm long), and a dorsal bundle of six and a ventral bundle of four simple capillary chaetae. Pygidium with two thread-shaped cirri. Pharyngeal bulb with laterally situated masticating structures.

Up to 300 µm.

Colour:
Transparent.

Habitat:
Subtidal muddy-sandy sediments.

Distribution:
Southern North Sea.
