Myriochele danielsseni

Description:
Anterior end obliquely truncated, with a long, ventrally incised collar. Mouth subterminal.
First three segments short, with notopodia only. Following segments with notopodia and neuropodial tori.
Notopodial chaetae are both spines and capillaries. Neuropodial chaetae numerous hooks teeth in a horizontal line.

Size:
Up to 30 mm for 22 segments.

Tube:
Membranous, encrusted with small sand-grains, not usually overlapping.

Colour:
yellowish.

Habitat:
Sublittoral, at moderate depths.

Distribution:
Skagerrak. Possible world-wide.
