Description:
Prostomium small, slightly wider than long, with a pair of ovoid frontal palps and a pair of globular ventral palps. Five antennae with two to four basal annulations. Eyes absent. Peristomium with a pair of short, club-shaped peristomial cirri near the anterior margin.
First two chaetigers with somewhat enlarged and forwardly directed parapodia. Dorsal cirri with distinct basal segments, long and cylindrical, becoming shorter and more slender posteriorly. First four ventral cirri club-shaped, the others pad-shaped.
First four parapodia with tridentate pseudoarticulate hooks with long and pointed hoods. Other parapodia with: winged capillary chaetae, comb-chaetae and stout bidentate hooks starting at chaetigers 16.
Gills absent from a long posterior region, with four or five filaments where best developed.
Pygidium unknown.
Mandibles not described. Maxillae I a hooked forceps, maxillae II with 7 and 9 teeth, maxillae III with 7 teeth each, maxillae IV with 6 and 7 teeth, maxillae V unidentate.
Size:
Over 43 mm for over 100 segments.
Tube:
Cylindrical, thin-walled, covered with a layer of mud.

Unknown.
Habitat:
On soft substrata; subtidal to about 900 m.
Distribution:
Norwegian coast to Norwegian Trough.
