Description:
Prostomium rounded, oval. No antennae. Palps about half as long as prostomium, set ventrolaterally at the posterior part of the prostomium; finger-shaped, distally ciliated.
First and 2nd achaetigerous segments about as long as the following chaetigers.
Parapodia blunt, with one acicula and with one or two simple and three unidentate compound chaetae (P. akessoni-chaetae).
Pygidium with 2 cirri, distally ciliated.
Mandibles shaped like shoulderblades, with smooth anterior edge. Maxillae and maxillary carriers insufficiently described.

Size:
Up to 1.5 mm for 18 segments.

Colour:
Whitish or yellowish.

Habitat:
Unknown.

Distribution:
Skagerrak.
