Troglochaetus beranecki

Description:
Prostomium broadly rounded, with two slender anterolateral palps and two nuchal slits near the posterior margin, without eyes.
First segments without parapodia or chaetae. Following parapodia biramous with very short, conical papillae. Up to six finely toothed, capillary chaetae per bundle.
No pygidial cirri.

Size:
0.63 mm for 7 chaetigers.

Colour:
Pale yellowish.

Habitat:
Interstitial. Subterraneous in fresh water.

Distribution:
European mainland, Colorado.
