Genus Bylgides

Chamberlin, 1919

Description:
Polynoidae with 15 or 14 pairs of scales. Prostomium with more or less distinct peaks. Noto- and neuropodia extending into finger-like acicular lobes. Neuropodia with longer prechaetal lobe and a fingerlike process above the acicula and with shorter, rounded postchaetal lobe. Notopodial chaetae much thicker than neuropodial chaetae, unidentate. Neuropodial chaetae with elongate spinose regions, all with capillary tips or some with blunt tips.
